SUSAN LEE GRANT

ARTISTS THAT INSPIRE ME

Susan Lee Grant has built a creative practice around experimentation and evolution. Self-taught and tirelessly curious, she works across painting, sculpture, jewelry, photography and writing, never confining herself to any one medium.

Her visual style is expressive and instinctive, often combining bold brushstrokes, dripping paint, drawn elements, texture, color, and form. The bold colors and expressive forms standout with a sense of playfulness that feels completely her own. I admire the way she finds personality in unexpected places, moving between mediums and discovering what happens along the way.

“My personal mantra has always been to accept that there are no limitations to creative and personal expression.
Embracing that concept, I pursue all disciplines to stay focused on my journey of discovery.”

Susan Lee Grant is proof that you can keep evolving as long as you remain curious enough to follow where creativity leads.
